The first step to getting great digital photo prints, is to ensure that you use
a good digital camera.
Digital photos are popularity wins over traditional film photos because
of the features and convenience associated with the newer technology.
In some cases it is even more profitable for your own photo printing
home instead of to a developer or sending them in.
Here are some words of wisdom for making great digital photo printing
home.
There are really 4 main components for a large printed picture: Image,
Printer, ink, paper. Each component is connected so as important
for success.
The image is the basis for a good photo. There are many
different camera models out there, but In general, you should at least
3.2 megapixel pictures to make power. Some snazzy digital SLR cameras
have 8 megapixels or more. The camera is always are set to the
highest resolution while taking the photos in case you want to
extensions later.
Image transfer is crucial interest! Not just throwing the highest pixel image
some paper, you are unhappy with the results.
Sometimes a high number of pixels will create ugly jagged color
transitions in your picture and waste a lot of your time and ink. Too few
pixels and the pictures will appear very "grainy". It is usually the best to stay
within the range 200-300 pixels per inch.

16×20 cm. 3200 to 4000 px (~ 13 mpx) … 4800 by 6000 px (~ 29 mpx)

For example, if you had a photo taken with a 1.5 Megapixel digital
camera, a 5×7 cm print is probably the largest size print that
work. Slightly larger than a 5×7, can not be good.
However, if you had a picture taken with a 14 megapixel camera, you
should be able to print a 11×14 cm print with excellent results
(300ppi), or a "good" looking 16×20 cm print at 200 ppi.
Besides the digital camera image, there are a few other
components that go into making good quality digital photos you'll want
aware of: your printer, the cartridges you use and the quality of
the paper you use. Each component factors in your final result.

Why brightly colored flyers that the transfer of printing ink when folded?
I folded into three parts to the mail in an envelope Business Standard. I got a few back with wrong address. The ink always transfers to the back to back pleats, even after drying at least 24 hours.
What kind of paper is used? Photo Paper for this application might be a better option
