High school students often work on different computers daily to complete assignments. And high school teachers and professors demand more and more professional presentations of their students. Many students use USB flash drives to save their work and teachers are increasingly accepting assignments submitted on USB flash drives. Why are USB flash drives (also called USB memory sticks and USB thumb drives) becoming popular for academic purposes?
For students:
First, students personalized USB drives that copy their desktop applications and preferences from their personal computer. When they plug in their personal flash drive, they can run programs using their bodies, utilities, browser, etc. This is obviously a handy feature for students who may work on their own computer in the computer room, at a coffeehouse on the computer and computer their parents back in one weeks. Plus, much smaller, more portable computers do not come with a DVD device, but all computers have USB ports.
Second, although less expensive are DVD's, USB flash drives offer features that are student-friendly. USB flash drives are much harder to damage. Their case protects them from damage during normal use, Unlike DVDs, which require special treatment to keep accidentally the data stored on them unreadable. You can place USB memory sticks without damage of the stored data. Leaving them hot on the dashboard of your car can warp the case, but usually does not damage the memory. Some USB pens have survived even be washed and dried independent laboratory in Consumer Reports' tests. Students can transfer their personal USB drives in their pockets, backpacks, purses or low risk.
Third, USB flash drives are rewritable and can take much longer much more data than DVDs. As a student usually change daily data, the power to rewrite a benefit that outweighs the cost difference. Another potential cost-override difference is the pure memory now available on USB flash drives. Today you can buy 32GB USB flash drives for less than two to one hundred dollars. A 32GB USB flash drive has more memory than some computers and a 64GB USB flash drives are now available.
For teachers and professors:
Teachers and professors as USB flash drives for the same reason many students do: durability, reliability and memory. Even if the versatility USB flash drives offer.
Contracts are becoming multimedia presentations. If these students to submit assignments on a personalized flash drive, they can also support PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, databases, Flash Media, narration, web links, research, and together with their main task. This allows the teacher to assess their students more than their paper writing skills, which in turn, give students precise feedback.
Teachers and professors also benefit from the portability of personalized USB-drive commands. In the classroom they can delegate work to each student their own USB memory stick, then back the memory of the students sticks immediately. Even if the teacher or professor all of the USB flash drives take home, they can all their students in their assignments or attachà © suitcase. Compare this to the house carrying reams of paper each time a major contract is due. Not only is it easier on the back, but it is obviously easier on the environment too.
Students and teachers are becoming fans rel = "nofollow" href = "http://www.bespokeusb.com"> custom USB flash drives, they offer unmatched portability, storage capacity, and reliability. If the price continues to fall, USB flash drives are sure to find their way to more campuses and more classrooms.

How can boot from a USB stick?
I have an ISO I'd like to boot from my laptop is completely useless at the moment, is for a DVD, but I can not save it as I do not have a DVD burner in my PC. I know it's possible to boot from a USB drive, but I do not know how. I tried to drag ISO on the USB drive and trying to boot, I have a blinking underscore and nothing else. I tried extracting the ISO on the USB drive and the same result. What am I supposed to do?
Its really hard to find guys like U who dare to do such things, and 1 U it must know that coz i Ure right person to initiate Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP ……. all of 'em from my pendrive ……….. PLEASE vote for Best aswered Dont 4 Get beloved first, if u want to avoid all these tricks then goto internet and download CDBurnerXP and burn the DVD / CD image .. starting to be happy. But If u have courage and faith must atleast take your pendrive 4 GB or if you have Windows 7 / Windows Vista ISO image of about 2.33 to 3.5 GB if it is over the use pendrive 8 GB (I use flash drive instead of PD) for Windows XP can use 1Gb or PD. Turn your system of insertion of PD. follow these steps PLEASE READ CAREFULLY> to win7 open the View menu or startup type, right click cmd and run Administrator.for XP just start cmd 1> type diskpart hit enter (ENT) 2> list disk 3> Select 0/1/2/3 disk or never is the SID, as sample of PD itself but basically ur select disk 1 4> 5 Clean> create the primary partition of 6> Select partition 1 or no partition selected in step 3 7> 8 active> FORMAT FS = NTFS QUICK 9> Assign 10> Exit 11> cmd minimize closure not mount the image using a "tool of daemon, check the label on the drive that is mounted D: or E or F that is here I suppose like E 12> reached and type cmd in the next 13> E: bootable CD or go to the folder containing the file Bootsect.exe 14> bootable CD or until inside the folder that will talk im ABT Ilke E: \ boot> 15> BOOTSECT.EXE/NT60 F: here F: is the letter of our EP 16> Exit command closes the system is now starting its PD and yre almost done !!!!!!!! copy all files in the E: drive all means all that is within the ISO should be copied ………………. DONE reboot keep pressing F8 then u will see Start menu, select your flash drive and hit enter or will not boot or reboot, simply enter start configuring the PD and the rest is done automatically.
