Application of data from documents is a crucial process in active and passive services from public institutions and other agencies, because sometimes there are legal implications with this data. Writing dates manually on a large bunch of documents is labor intensive. Such a task is tedious and therefore prone to human error. Date stamp is a mechanical device used for these problems. Mini-date stamps are specialized form of date stamps. They are designed to impress on smaller items that require smaller size brand stamps.
Traditional Mini-date stamps are made up of six or eight plain rubber bands loaded on a support pulley system connected to a wooden button keeping the stamp. Ten single digits, ie 0 to 9, are carved on the length of each band. Engravings are designed in such a way that they can be used combined with the numbers on adjacent bands to date, representing months and years. The support pulley system facilitates rotation of the tires so required date can be positioned order exactly opposite to the top of the button. An inkpad is used to wet the date you want relief, which is then positioned on the paper and pressed a little to get the imprint.
Rubber versions of the mini date stamps with plastic caps are also available in the market. Additional molds for words like "Confidential", "Copy", "draft", etc., are also date stamps.
