A successful future in the new media industry (and in particular, graphic design) depends on choosing the right school. As a graduate student in this field itself, I will be able to provide you with the absolute best advice one can get in on this issue.
1. Target
The first thing to know about the schools of this is such that they are designed with everyone in mind, which means that people in the program can have absolutely no experience. In my case they asked for a portfolio of work as part of the admission process. 100% sure that in a program that included on-the-job experience. Or at least one lab. This is typically 100 hours of actual on-the-job experience and it is absolutely invaluable for your career.
5. Curriculum And Tools
You must assess whether the curriculum is relevant to your field. You can compare of the curricula of different schools to see which offers the best form of education. If it happens in my case, the administration did something she never did: the changed halfway through the program curriculum. 9. Scholarships
You might want to consider whether the design school you are looking at all offers scholarships. You may also want to change the terms they know. Some schools offer scholarships based on academic performance. Some offer them based art competitions they hold regularly. You must qualify for a national student loan either way, and the reimbursement is extremely affordable.
