Graphic Card

In the normal world can be a trip to the local computer store, buy a game you want, go home and install it, and start gaming. In this age of online gaming that scenario is a bit idealistic. Things are not so simple anymore. As every computer gamer can tell you, online games are hot the last few years and if you want your game experience fully, World of Warcraft for example, your computer system needs a complete spectrum of requirements.

Now, while the basic requirements than those needed turn the World of Warcraft game, not seem so daunting, running any computer game on the minimum requirements is the opposite of fun. For the real serious gamer, there is a difference between the pronunciation of the gaming world and stumbling through. Slow-downs, the screen freezes, blue screens and interruptions ruin any gaming experience. And even if you start with online gaming you will grow frustrated when you constantly have to wait for images to load and for graphics to scroll. It may even slow that you start doubting yourself when you do something wrong.

Today the computer gaming industry and the computer industry, are very close to each other; Any further development in the gaming world, a new, better computer must be purchased for successful execution of this development. World of Warcraft is no different. Many gamers go through computers as quickly as new versions of the game are released.

World of Warcraft System Requirements

The World of Warcraft system requirements are impressive. World of Warcraft requires a large amount of memory, hard disk space and, above all, a solid
internet.

For a Windows system, the World of Warcraft minimum system requirements are as follows:

– Intel Pentium III 800 MHz or AMD Athlon 800 MHz processor

– At least 512 MB RAM,

– 32 MB graphics card,

– DirectX 9.0,

– 6.0 GB hard disk space

– 4x CD-ROM

– 56k internet connection.

However, the recommended World of Warcraft system requirements are considerably higher:

– Intel Pentium IV 1.5 GHz or AMD XP 1500 + MHz processor

– 1024 MB RAM

– 64 MB 3D graphics card

– Broadband internet connection

– A two-button, scroll wheel mouse is also recommended.

Millions of players connect daily to the World of Warcraft servers and the amount of information that is transferred from one computer to one of the main terminals is enormous. But with all these figures and with all these devices, frequent gamers know they will have to exceed the minimum system requirements to fully experience the game. The minimal World of Warcraft system requirements only guarantee the game to run, they do not guarantee to run the game in a playable fashion.

There are a number of other known issues in mind

– Some video cards may experience problems displaying certain textural effects while playing. Graphic problems glittering static structures in colors, textures solid green or white, and patches of texture or even geometry that are invisible.

– World of Warcraft / Burning Crusade requires The latest version of DirectX.

– It is important that your video drivers are up-to-date and compatible with the latest version of DirectX. Outdated or incompatible video drivers could lead to a variety of video games and issues.

Something else you should keep in mind is that World of Warcraft had multiple expansion packs and down-loadable patches and these are also a factor in the World of Warcraft system requirements. Overtime shifted the specifications, and will be a shift in the future, what ever acceptable for the original game run is not sufficient for a number of enhancements and patches. This will allow players to upgrade their computer if they want to run the latest versions of the game. Gamers really no choice to compete, they have the newest World of Warcraft software and a system that at least meets the recommended requirements, otherwise you will continue to stumble around.

Is the NVIDIA GeForce 7000M graphics card good?

I have an Acer laptop with the graphics card, but I wonder if it is a good graphic card compared to others out there. I'm thinking of starting a graphic design course at the University in September and programs must be running, such as Photoshop, etc. So it's a good graphic card?

But for a laptop is not worse than an integrated graphics card. but is quite old. will not play any of the latest direct x 10 games and have some difficulty playing with Direct X 9, but the original half-life, WoW and others older games will have no problem with that. Hope this helps
